I used to play football for “Bookham Colts” in Surrey (from 10-15 years old). I gave it up to play rugby and then got injured. I wouldn’t say I was good, but I played regularly and enjoyed it. I’m hoping to be picked for the next staff vs students football team at the University of Manchester.

I used to support Wimbledon before they were sold to Milton Keynes. I now don’t have a favourite team. Instead, I have a favourite coach, Jose Mourinho. His mentor was Bobby Robson, the former England manager. Bobby taught him how to be a winner.

I have to say I admire John Terry as he always gives 200% in football, although some bad things have been said about him in the papers.

I don’t know anyone who would say that I was good at football! But sometimes I try – probably best in defense – I run a lot and can get in the way when needed 🙂

But other than that – I don’t really support any teams – if it were rugby however – well that’s a different ball game 🙂 I’m a big Munster fan (that’s where I’m from)
