Yes, loads… however its rare to find a power station in a nice place! Nobody wants to live next to them for some reason?

I’ve had lots of opportunity to travel with my job in the last 5 years. I’ve been to Turkey, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Germany… I really enjoy travelling so that suits me quite well.

@Irongillgrunt – I’m typing this in Madrid airport. Yes, I travel a lot. A week ago, I was in a conference in Dublin. Next week, I travel to San Diego in the USA for an engineering meeting. In September (or October), I’ll be teaching engineering simulation in China. I often have meetings for 1 day in Europe, Brussels or Paris or Barcelona. I don’t get much time to enjoy the places, but my job makes me feel like a “global citizen” and I meet many interesting engineers.

Yes, I travel all the time – it’s a really good way of seeing the world – places you wouldn’t normally get a chance to visit. Form me, I visit India at least once a year – we’re installing a renewable energy power plant to give electricity to a small community for the first time. I also give talks and presentations at conferences (Japan, Australia, Turkey, Egypt, USA recently).
