• Question: How long have you been programming for and do you enjoy it more than engineering?

      I learnt programming when I was 10 years old – when the first affordable personal computers appeared (Google Sinclair ZX80 or ZX81 if you’re interested). I quickly got bored of it and didn’t do any more programming until about 15 years later. The link with engineering makes the programming more interesting. I’m motivated by the need to solve engineering problems more than the need to write computer programs.
