• Question: if anything could be created what would you make to stop global warming?

      Hi @matt setch. I’d make a machine that would suck carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and another that could create cheap electricity without damaging the environment.

      We CAN stop global warming already. We need to teach people about it better and change our lifestyles… for example if everyone eats less meat, and we use the land to grow crops instead of raise animals, that would make a big difference already.

      Anything….? Has to be a huge biosphere for the whole earth, were we can have complete control of our atmosphere. I’m thinking sunshine for Scotland in summer and snow for skiing in winter!

      But Lee has a more likely idea – carbon capture is essential (although storing it is a huge engineering challenge)

      Also, I’d want to break a few laws of thermodynamics, with perpetual energy generation

      Again I think Lee and Yasmin’s ideas are probably more likely

      ….but you did say anything 🙂 an engineer can dream.
