      I think it has to be project work. I think students learn better this way. So I don’t tell students what to do – I simply ask the right questions. i.e. do you think that material is strong enough OR is there a more cost effective solution, etc etc. That way students begin to question themselves and strive for better and better engineering design.

      The best part of the whole process is seeing the end results – great designs AND great engineers 🙂
