Professor Stephen Hawking. His love of physics has kept him alive after being told he had 2 years to live, 50 years ago. He is one of the most inspiring people on the planet.

Ada Lovelace is a heroine to me as she was the first computer programmer. Babbage created the first computer but Ada worked out how to use it.

I really like Jim Al-Khalili, his radio and TV shows are pretty cool! Also I want to be like him, an engineer but also a broadcaster. I think that would be really worthwhile.

David Attenborough – he is simply the best science communicator bar none!

His background/expertise is very different to mine – but I learn so much from him and his ability to communicate complex ideas with simple language and enthusiasm that is infectious!
