• Question: Why do you work on a oil rig?

      Hello! I don’t always work on an oil rig, I usually work in the office. The reason I work in oil and gas is because we need it for running our cars and planes and we need to to generate electricity in power stations. Without it, we would be in the dark (literally!).

      We are working on more sustainable energy sources, like wind and solar power, but in the meantime we have to keep extracting oil and gas if we want to carry on living the way that we do. Hopefully that answers your question, ask again if not!!
