• Question: What subject is used most in engineering?

      I use quite a bit of very simple maths at the moment. I’m working out costs for the project, so it’s excel and mostly adding up/subtracting and working out percentages! I also use a bit of Chemistry occasionally when I look at properties of oil and gas – what temperature it evaporates at, that kind sort of thing.

      Maths is used is most engineering activities – but it’s not always the tough stuff!

      english – to communicate the answer to others

      Maths and Science. But I would not recommend dropping any other subjects that you enjoy too quickly. Art and history and languages can also be useful in engineering!
